On January 13th, the presentation of the report “Italy in 10 Selfies”, organized in collaboration with the Symbola Foundation and Assocamerestero, took place at the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Now in its 11th edition, the report highlights ten key achievements of Italy in various sectors, underscoring the uniqueness of the Italian model based on quality, sustainability, and strong ties with local territories. The presentation was opened by the speech of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani, who emphasized the value of exports as a driver for the development and growth of the Italian economy, as well as the strategic role of “growth diplomacy” in enhancing the promotion of Italian excellence worldwide. These excellences are well captured in the report curated by the Symbola Foundation, which – among other things – highlights lesser-known achievements in innovative sectors such as sustainable steel, waste recycling, and pharmaceuticals, alongside the importance of moving beyond a narrative of Made in Italy that focuses solely on traditional strengths.
