The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation participates again in this year’s campaign promoted by UN Women on the occasion of the International Day to end violence against Women, that will occur on November 25. The goal is to promote the role of Italy in protecting and promoting Women’s rights and in the fight against any form of discrimination and gender violence, which is a priority in the foreign policy of our country.
The motto of this year campaign is ” “UNITE! Invest to prevent violence against women and girls”. Orange Day invites activists, governments and United Nations’ Partners to mobilize to prevent and end violence against women and girls.
