Talks by selected Italian academics and professionals will explore how sustainability fits within the parameters of their research and professional activity, how their individual approaches to sustainability are steeped in Italian historical practice, and how their initiatives align with sustainability efforts in Italy today.
The event is presented in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada – West, in partnership with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Toronto and under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Vancouver.
Featured speakers include Architect Alberto Bicego (Bicego Design Inc. Founder & Director), SFU’s Dr. Vincenzo Pecunia, Perugia-based Benedetta Risolo (Istituto Italiano Design) and prof. Laura Sanfilippo (Consulate General of Italy Vancouver).
