Meeting between ARPICO and Consul General Marco Nobili: focus on research and innovation

Consul General Marco Nobili has met with the representatives of ARPICO ( ) Associazione dei Ricercatori e Professionisti Italiani nel Canada Oocidentale.

ARPICO is a not-for-profit volunteer based society operating in Western Canada, advocating public awareness of research activities that involve Italians or that may be of interest to the Italian community. The society offers an informal forum for discussion, debate and exchange of ideas related to topics relevant to modern society by facilitating networking and providing a point of reference and support for researchers, professionals, and governmental entities.

“We want to further strengthen the collaboration and friendship between the Consulate General and ARPICO and reiterate the strategic nature of our partnership”, observed Consul General Marco Nobili, according to whom “the development plan presented to me by ARPICO can offer interesting opportunities for our researchers in highly sensitive, innovative and high-tech content sectors”.

Arpico has already collaborated in the past with the Italian Consulate General in Vancouver in creating and managing numerous events, and in line with the aspiration of the Italian country to raise awareness of the technological and research excellence carried out by our fellow nationals in Italy and abroad, we want to intensify our collaboration with associations among compatriots operating in those sectors.
