PASSPORTS: Establishment of new biometric data acquisition point in Calgary

A new point for acquiring biometric data of passport applicants has recently been established in Calgary, in the office of our Honorary Consul Teresina Bontorin. This new service, still in its testing phase, will allow Italian citizens residing in the Calgary area to apply for a passport without the need to travel to Edmonton or Vancouver to leave their photographs and fingerprints.
The number of available slots per month is small, so a longer waiting time may be possible. Applicants wishing to take advantage of this opportunity should mention it when applying for their passports by e-mail. The Passport Office will reply indicating the first available slot.
Please visit the Passport web page for more info.
