Visit to Vancouver of H.E. Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic (30 June – 1 July 2017)

H.E. Sergio Mattarella President of the Republic of Italy arrived in Vancouver on June 30th 2017, marking the final stop of a State visit in Canada. Upon his arrival he met the Liutenant Governor of British Columbia, the Honourable Judith Guichon. Present during the meeting was also the Undersecretary of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Senator Benedetto Della Vedova. President Mattarella subsequently visited the Triumf Research Facility and the Museum of Anthropology, both located at the University of British Columbia, and met with the Italian community at the Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver.
