Italy presents &#8220;The Spring of my Life&#8221;: Zavvo Nicolosi&#8217;s\u00a0feature debut is a\u00a0lively, engaging, often hilarious road movie starring popular Sicilian singers Colapesce and Dimartino (whose music videos Nicolosi directs). The film is the fictional story of two friends who share a\u00a0certain musical past as they embark on an unusual journey to Sicily. As they travel across the legendary island and its villages, towns, and cities, not to mention the volcanic Mount Etna, they have odd, absurdist encounters with decidedly eccentric characters. Influenced by the road movies of Wim Wenders and Aki Kaurism\u00e4ki, with nods to Wes Anderson\u2019s whimsical humour, <em>The Spring of My Life<\/em> is a\u00a0colourful cinematic and musical confection\u2014a trip to Sicily you won\u2019t soon forget.<\/p>\n<p>Also, don\u2019t miss this opportunity to check out the other 28 new productions, representing the other EU member countries (+ Ukraine) at this year\u2019s edition of the Festival, running from November 16 to 30.
