To apply for a passport at our Consulate General, residents in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and in the Yukon Territory must meet the requirements listed below.<\/p>\n<h4>REQUIREMENTS FOR ISSUANCE OF A PASSPORT<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Be an Italian citizen<\/li>\n<li>Be registered with AIRE at our Consulate<\/li>\n<li>Have your personal records up-to-date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>PASSPORT VALIDITY<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Passport for adults: <strong>10 years<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Passport for minors aged 3 to 18: <strong>5 years<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Passport for children under 3: <strong>3 years<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<p><strong>FOR INFORMATION ON THE PROCEDURE, SELECT YOUR AREA OF RESIDENCE FROM THE MENU ON THE RIGHT.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Last update: 2026\/04\/30<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"GENERAL INFORMATION NOTE: All the forms mentioned on this page are available on the Forms section.
