Fare Cinema 2020

The Fare Cinema project was designed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to promote Italian quality cinema and Italy’s film industry. Partners in its organisation are the Ministry of Culture, ANICA (the national association for the film, audiovisual and multimedia industries), the Italian Trade Agency, and Istituto Luce – Cinecittà.

Launched in 2018, the festival offers a series of events around the world dedicated to Italian cinema and aimed at promoting the quality of Italy’s film industry and highlighting its skilled professionals.

In view of the Covid-19 emergency, this year’s festival has new format: fascinating content (masterclasses, videolessons, short films, promos, and videotours) will be available from June 15 to 21 on the RaiPlay platform, with a focus on June 20, 2020: World Italian Cinema Day.

There is also special programming this year to mark the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of two iconic figures of Italian cinema: Federico Fellini and Alberto Sordi.

All contents are available until June 21 on the RaiPlay platform at the following link: https://www.raiplay.it/fare-cinema/
